The location near the lake, next to the pub and directly opposite the pub, was perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided great information about the area. The breakfast provided was substantial and set me up for the day.

The food is amazing, both breakfast and evening meals. Portions are good and the nacho cheese sauce is a must-try. The location is fabulous for exploring the Peak District. The staff are welcoming and helpful, especially towards dogs. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great views. Safe parking options available.

The inn is in a convenient location right next to the dam, making it a perfect spot for walkers exploring the nearby walking paths. the pub on-site adds to the convenience and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, with a choice of hot dishes included in the stay.
The kitchen closed early without any prior notice, leaving us hungry after a long walk.
